I often get asked "What's your favourite soap?" and this is the hardest question for me.
I have many favourites! Some soaps I use as my last pick, and have attempted to phase them out only to be met with disappointment from regular customers. So it really does come down to everyone's tastes being completely different. Some soaps I've thought looked awful but due to lack of stock I placed them on my market shelf and they were the first ones to go. I'm more relaxed about the imperfections on handmade soap now, because it doesn't need to look absolutely perfect to do a great job. After the first wash most of them look better - the drag marks from the knife come away and the patterns become clearer. So now my standard answer is "All of them." Because even if they are a last pick - for aesthetic reasons - they are still natural and good for your skin.
